Global Conference 2027:
Counter Narratives and AI Best Practices

Thanks for clicking the conference link and good to have you here. If you landed here then you are probably wondering about what makes this conference so different to others out there. Well, that’s simple - it’s about you, and your students. You are the magic ingredient! Let’s break it down.

3rd - 5th March 2027

Where is the conference taking place?

We have been talking about ways to bring the amazing Good Future Foundation together in one place for a while. This global gathering will be taking place in London from 3rd - 5th March 2027. Venues are yet to be announced but rest assured we are looking at some cool places and schools, spaces that match your creative muses.

What’s the plan for the 3 days?

This global gathering will be taking place in London from 3rd - 5th March 2027. It will be highly curated with a focus on emergent practices in the AI and digital space. We are bringing together educators and experts from various countries to share their stories about using AI in (and outside) the classroom. Schools, teachers, and students are welcome.

Here is a breakdown of the days.

Monday, May 3, 2027

Setting the intentions

Day 1 centres student voice and agency. Delegates engage directly with learner-led innovation through school immersions and a live Hackathon, designed to surface how young people are shaping and challenging AI use. GFF schools are invited to enter a team of 5 students to a series of 1-day ‘hackathon’ challenges hosted by local tech companies. There will also be opportunities to visit local GFF AI Quality Mark Gold and Silver schools to meet staff and learn from innovations at the cutting edge of education. Day 1 wraps with cocktails and light bites whilst being serenaded by a live band in a trendy London venue.

Validated emergent practices

Day 2 focuses on spotlighting innovations that work and hearing from those people driving them. A highly curated menu of practitioner-led workshops, AI policy clinics, keynotes and roundtables hosted by the GFF Assessor team is the blueprint with a few twists thrown in. Sneak preview - this includes the ‘unconference hour’ a responsive agenda shaped by you to interrogate critical issues in the AI and digital arena. There will also be a live ‘Rap Battle’ between prominent figures in the AI community and a secret hour (to be confirmed). After a full conference day - there will be a break in proceedings before reconvening for a Gala Dinner at one of London's premier venues to hand out some new GFF Awards, hear from the students who competed in the Hackathon and two high profile keynotes. After a 3-course meal there will be a disco and drinks so you can get your boogie on.
