Erin Mote is the CEO and Founder of InnovateEDU. In this role, Erin leads the organization and its major projects, including its policy and strategy portfolio.  She leads the organization’s work on creating uncommon alliances to create systems change - in special education, talent development, artificial intelligence, and data modernization.  An enterprise architect, she created, alongside her team, two of InnovateEDU’s signature technology products -  Cortex, a next-generation personalized learning platform, and Landing Zone - a cutting-edge infrastructure as a service data product.

Fatimah Hussain is a computer science student at UC Berkeley, co-founder of Finnie, and creator of @fatimahs.guide, an education platform helping students navigate college, scholarships, and early careers. As a first-generation college student, she built Finnie to make scholarships easier to find and access, helping 15,000 students worldwide.

She has built a community of more than 300,000 followers across social media, partnered with organizations including OpenAI, Microsoft, Adobe, and Notion, and was selected as a 2026 ChatGPT Futures Grant recipient. She is passionate about using technology and storytelling to expand educational opportunity for under-resourced communities.

Elizabeth is a Deputy Director with the K-12 team at the Gates Foundation. She leads the team responsible for strategies and investments to ensure all students, especially Black and Latino student and students experiencing poverty, have access to high quality math learning experiences. Elizabeth joined the foundation in 2022.

Prior to joining the Gates Foundation, Elizabeth was at Pearson Education for 18 years and served as the Vice President of Learning Research and Design in the Efficacy and Learning group before joining the Gates Foundation. Her experience at Pearson spanned assessment, school improvement, school leader development, product development and solutions for global initiatives. Elizabeth began her career as a middle school and high school ELA teacher in Texas and California and now lives in Austin, Texas with her husband.

Rose Luckin is an internationally respected academic and influential communicator across multiple stakeholders about the future of education and technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI). With over 30 years of experience, she is a recognised expert on AI in education, serving as an advisor to policymakers, governments, and industry globally.Professor Emerita at University College London and Founder and CEO of Educate Ventures Research Limited (EVR), a company that provides thought leaderships, training and consultancy to the education sector to help them leverage AI ethically and effectively.Throughout her career, Rose has held key leadership roles in academia, including serving on the Director's Strategy Group at the UCL Institute of Education from 2011-2015 and as Pro-Vice-Chancellor, University of Sussex, Director of Undergraduate Studies for Science and Technology, and Co-Founding Director of the Human Centred Technology research group all at the University of Sussex.

In recognition of her contributions, Rose was honoured with the Bett Outstanding Achievement Award in 2025, as a Leading Woman in AI EDU at the ASU-GSV AIR Show in 2024 and she received the 2023 ISTE Impact Award, becoming the first person outside North America to receive their top honour. She was also awarded the International Francqui Chair in 2018 by the Francqui Foundation in Belgium, named one of the 20 most influential people in education in the 2017 Seldon List and one of the 50 most influential women in UK tech by Computer Weekly in 2024.

A prolific author, Rose has published extensively in academic journals, books, and conference proceedings. Her 2018 book, "Machine Learning and Human Intelligence: The Future of Education for the 21st Century," available in English and Mandarin, describes how AI can be effectively used to support teaching and learning. Her most recent book, "AI for Schoolteachers," published in 2022, is an essential and accessible guide to AI for anyone involved in education.

As a highly sought-after speaker, Rose regularly delivers keynotes and public lectures across the globe on AI, ethics, and the future of education. She engages with the public through a monthly column in the Times Educational Supplement and op-eds in the Financial Times, Guardian, and China Daily. Rose has also appeared on various media outlets, including BBC Radio 4, ITV News, and CNBC.

In addition to her academic and entrepreneurial roles, Rose serves as an advisor to Cambridge University Press and Assessment and is co-founder of the Institute for Ethical AI in Education. She is also President of The Self-Managed Learning Centre in Brighton and sits on a range of advisory boards within the education and training sector.

Rose holds a PhD in Cognitive and Computing Sciences and a First Class Bachelor's degree in AI and Computer Science, both from the University of Sussex. Prior to her academic career, she achieved Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

In June 2026, Rose was awarded with a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) as part of the King's Honours.  This was in recognition of her services to education.

Xinman (Yoyo) Liu is an AI Architect at the Center for Education Innovation at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She holds degrees in Education Data Science from Stanford University and in Education, Policy, and International Development from the University of Cambridge. Drawing on human-computer interaction, learning science, data science, and applied AI, her work centers human judgment, creativity, and care alongside technical capability.

Miles is Professor of Computing Education at the University of Roehampton, where he is head of curriculum and recruitment for the secondary PGCE as well as leading the PGCE in computing course. He supervises doctoral students and is a member of the University's AI development and innovation group. Prior to joining Roehampton, he spent 18 years in four schools, much of the time as an ICT coordinator and most recently as a head teacher. He has worked with Cambridge University Press and Assessment on a number of curriculum and training development projects.

He helped write England's national curriculum computing programmes of study. He gave evidence to the House of Lords AI select committee, was an expert advisor to the US-based AI4K12 project, and supported Georgian universities in developing academic integrity policies. He chairs the BCS England computing curriculum committee, and until recently was chair of the National Centre for Computing Education's academic board.

Dr. Karina J. Baum is the Director of Global Learning in the Teaching & Learning Department at Boston Public Schools, where she leads the integration of global education across the curriculum, K–12 world languages, and international student travel with a focus on equity and culturally sustaining practices. Her research explores best practices in global education, including design thinking, interdisciplinary learning, technology integration, and culturally responsive curriculum development, and she has published in peer-reviewed journals, books, and presented widely at conferences. She co-edited Current Trends in Global Education: Bridging K-12 and Higher Education for an Interconnected World and has received the Amgen Award for Science Teaching Excellence and the Regeneron Science Talent Search Teacher of Merit Recognition. Dr. Baum has held fellowships at the National Academies of Science and Harvard University, served as a consultant for Oxfam, is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Global Learning, and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound Education Center. Her personal interests reflect her passion for science and global learning, including cooking, gardening, photography, learning languages, and travel.

Tatiana holds a B.A. in Classics and an M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University. Her work spans social impact technology and public interest law. She has developed AI tools for public health students and legal aid societies, and previously worked at the Robin Hood Foundation and the NYC Department of Education. Driven by a commitment to expanding educational access, Tatiana has published a Latin textbook for young learners, built vocabulary games for Syriac scholars, and co-authored a white paper on equitable AI in classrooms. She is currently reading for an MPhil in Greek and/or Latin Languages and Literature at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar and Clarendon Scholar.

Julie Carson is the Deputy CEO at Woodland Academy Trust, leading schoolimprovement, curriculum development and digital transformation across five primary schools in Bexley and Kent. With over 25 years’ experience in education, including 18 years in leadership roles such as Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, and School Improvement Advisor, she has a strong commitment to inclusion and innovation.Julie specialises in AI and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), developing a Trust-wide pedagogical framework that led to two schools being named an Apple Distinguished School and the Trust becoming an Apple Regional Training Centre. She regularly contributes to national and international discussions on AI in education and digital equity.Julie holds an MA (with distinction) in Educational Leadership and the NPQEL. She was awarded a Silver Award for Transformational Use of Digital Technology in the 2025 Pearson National Teaching Awards in recognition of her pioneering work, along with being named as Digital Leader in the Global EdTech Awards.

Laura Knight is Founder of Sapio Ltd, a consultancy specialising in digital strategy and innovation. She was previously Director of Digital Learning  at Berkhamsted School (2013 – 2024) and worked as a teacher for twenty years across both the maintained and independent sectors. 

Laura is an expert in leading the strategic development of technology for teaching and learning, 1-1 devices, artificial intelligence, staff training in digital skills, and online safeguarding. 

Laura is a disruptive thinker, international keynote speaker, coach, and consultant, and is passionate about creative problem-solving. She supports leaders in schools, universities, and commercial organisations with exploring the art of the possible, and leverages technology to transform outcomes, systems, and teams. Her new book The Little Guide for Teachers on Generative AI will be published by Sage in the autumn. 

Laura works with the Independent Schools Council Digital Advisory Group, the EDUtech Europe Advisory Board, and is a leading member of the Bourne-Epsom Protocol; a national cross-sector working group on AI in education. She has also worked as an expert advisor to international governments on educational policy and provides training and input for associations such as the Independent Schools Association, the Independent Schools Teaching Induction Panel, the Society of Heads, and the Independent Schools’ Bursars’ Association.

Özgen Bağcı Cervo is an educator, learning designer and community connector whose work sitsat the intersection of education, creativity, design, culture and human connection. Working across Europe and beyond, she designs programmes, partnerships and professional learning experiences that bring educators together to imagine new possibilities for education.

As a HundrED Academy Member and Community Lead for Western Europe, Özgen contributesto the review of educational innovations and connects changemakers across the region. Throughthis work, she brings local and contextual perspectives into global conversations and helps inspire collaboration and action around educational innovation.Özgen is also the founder of Educ@demy, where she creates international professional learningexperiences that bring education into dialogue with art, design, culture and place.

She began her career as an EFL teacher in Turkey and Italy, an experience that continues to shape her work today. For the past eight years, she has served as Academic Programs Director for ETS Local Network offices in the Netherlands and Italy, building partnerships, leading international projects and creating professional learning opportunities for educators across different countries and educational contexts.

Named in 2024 as one of the Top 5 Visionary Women in Education, and in 2025 as one of the Top 50 Influential People in Education, Dr Fiona Aubrey-Smith is an award winning teacher, leader and academic with a passion for supporting those who work with children and young people. As Founder of PedTech and Director of One Life Learning, Fiona works closely with schools and trusts, professional learning providers and EdTech companies. She is also an Associate Lecturer, PhD supervisor and Consultant Researcher at a number of universities. Fiona is Co-founder of the National PedTech Partnership and Open School UK, and sits on a number of advisory and charitable boards; championing learner agency, practice based research and forensic thinking about the structural support for learning.
 
Co-author of the best selling book From EdTech to PedTech: Changing the way we think about digital technology, Fiona is a regular contributor to events and publications about Education, Pedagogy and Education Technology. She is a Founding Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching, and has been awarded Fellowships by RSA, NAACE and the HEA.
 
In 2023, Fiona was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Educators (becoming a Liveryman in 2026), and in 2024, Fiona was granted Freedom of the City of London.

In 2025, Fiona was named EduFuturist of the Year 2025.
