AI Summer School 2026
Bringing 40 young people together for a fully funded residential week has been one of the most rewarding things we've done this year.
Our 2026 Good Future Foundation Summer School has come to an end and what an incredible way to finish the academic year. Over eight days, 40 young people, including two students who joined us from Oman, explored artificial intelligence, education, ethics, and the future of work, while building friendships and memories that will last far beyond the week. From lessons and workshops to visits, challenges, and an action-packed social programme, every day was filled with opportunities to learn, laugh, and grow together.
Throughout the week, our students learned from teachers with a genuine passion for responsible AI in education, debated big questions, met researchers and industry leaders, and visited organisations at the forefront of AI. They left with a stronger understanding of the opportunities this technology presents, the responsibilities that come with it, and most importantly, the confidence to help shape the future rather than simply experience it.
This programme would not have been possible without an incredible community of partners and supporters:
- Our teaching team and everyone at Holmewood House School
- Guest speakers from Loud Speaker, Voice21, Connected by Data, and STEM Learning
- Salesforce AI Centre and Datum Datacentres for welcoming us for an industry visit
- AIEOU at the University of Oxford and the Department for Education for facilitating the daily digital exchange between our students and their educators, researchers, and policymakers
- MCC Digital for kindly lending us devices for students' project work
Finally, thank you to our 40 brilliant students who brought such curiosity, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm to every moment of the week. You made it everything it was!
