Stretford High School

As a state-funded school in Greater Manchester serving a highly diverse community, Stretford came to this work around AI with a clear sense of purpose, and awarded Bronze of the AI Quality Mark in June 2026. Their priority from the beginning was equity, and that has shaped every decision they have made along the way.

The assessor commended the school's staff professional development as a standout strength, and noted the solid organisational foundations the team has carefully put in place. There is a lot of thoughtful work behind this award.

Here is the sharing from their Deputy Headteacher, Rowena Kidd about their school’s AI journey.
