AI, safeguarding, and young People: a free professional development day with the PSHE Association

AI doesn't stop at the school gate, just like social media. Young people are using these tools at home, in their own time. And when something goes wrong, it shows up in your school, in behaviour, in disclosures, and in situations that don't fit familiar categories.

On Wednesday 15 July, Good Future Foundation and the PSHE Association are bringing together Safeguarding, PSHE, and Pastoral Leads for a free day built entirely around this challenge.

This came together because of some brilliant people who were honest with us about what they are seeing in schools. We are so glad to be working with Jonathan Baggaley, Chief Executive of the PSHE Association, whose expertise is shaping how we approach AI safety within the curriculum. And a huge thank you to Watergrove Trust whose insights into the real challenges facing schools have made this day sharper and more grounded than it would otherwise have been.

The day is practical and scenario-led to build school leaders' confidence and readiness to respond, whatever the situation. If you work in safeguarding, PSHE, or pastoral care, come and spend the day with us. Free to attend, lunch provided.
