HFL Education in Hert
Invited by HFL Education in Hertfordshire, our Executive Director, Daniel, was at Presdales School on 11 June 2026 to deliver professional development training.
The day brought together school leaders and educators to explore AI literacy, AI capability and strategic adoption in schools. One of the most interesting discussions focused on how schools define different levels of AI confidence and competence. Even where staff are not yet comfortable using the technology themselves, there is an increasing need to understand how it works, where it is being used and the opportunities and risks it presents.
Both sessions were well attended, particularly the afternoon strategy session. It was encouraging to hear how schools are approaching governance, safeguarding and responsible adoption, with plenty of thoughtful questions and practical examples shared throughout the day.
