Exciting news! We're partnering with The MakersPlace and International Community School ( ICS )- Ghana to support more schools and educators in Ghana on responsible AI adoption. This partnership is a natural continuation of the momentum we built last October, when our team travelled to Accra, Tamale and Kumasi for AI professional development workshops with hundreds of Ghanaian educators.
Building on The MakersPlace’s expertise in educator capacity building and ICS Ghana's established network and educational leadership, we’ll work together this summer to create locally relevant training modules covering AI literacy, safeguarding, and responsible practices. Come September, their team will facilitate AI professional development workshops for educators in Accra and Kumasi, while guiding participating schools through our AI Quality Mark framework to develop robust AI strategies.
This partnership is an exciting step forward as we establish Ghana as a potential hub supporting similar AI education initiatives in West Africa! We can't wait to share more updates with you!
