Professional Development at St John’s College Cardiff

On 7th July 2026, we held our first ever GFF AI professional development day in Wales, hosted by St John's College, Cardiff. Even though this came on the back of lots of other engagement, it was awesome spending the day with such an engaged group of educators who created space for some fascinating discussions. We explored what it means to trust AI, how young people who have grown up alongside these technologies may experience digital interactions differently from previous generations, and why schools have such an important role in helping students develop literacy over fluency. We finished the day by sharing how our AI Quality Mark is helping schools take a structured, evidence-informed approach.
