Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate in York, June 2025

In partnership with Educate Ventures Research, we ran a full day of training at Queen Ethelburga's Collegiate, joined by educators and senior leaders from across the region. It was a brilliant day of thinking, sharing and challenge, covering everything from AI guard rails and safeguarding to cognitive friction, curriculum alignment and the risk of de-skilling.

The in-person fact to face workshops brings connection, humanity and depth to conversations that can otherwise feel quite isolating - particularly when we are trying to break through the hype or AI and ground the conversations in best practice. The questions from those in attendance were sharp and the commitment to getting this right for students and staff was clear throughout.

At Good Future Foundation, we want every school to have the chance to access high-quality, free professional development around AI. That means going where the need is, and offering long-term support that makes a difference.
