The school’s leadership team, led by Leena Atkins (Head teacher and Whole School AI Integration Lead), Alicia Ramsay (Director of Learning and Teaching), and Swati Nirupam (Head of Computing), has created a model of AI integration that encompasses not just teaching and learning, but also school operations, safeguarding, and community engagement.
Stretford High School
As a state-funded school in Greater Manchester serving a highly diverse community, Stretford came to this work around AI with a clear sense of purpose, and awarded Bronze of the AI Quality Mark in June 2026. Their priority from the beginning was equity, and that has shaped every decision they have made along the way.
